South-Korean KEPCO and KEMA sign agreement KEMA called in for expertise in high-voltage testing
July 14 - KEPRI (Korean Electric Power Research Institute), which is owned by South-Korea’s national electricity company, KEPCO, has asked for KEMA’s support with the development and use of its test locations. The aim of the collaboration is the exchange of knowledge and experience in a number of fields, including the testing of cables in South-Korea. The two companies have now formalized their relationship by signing a memorandum of understanding.

June 3 - The German Regulator has decided on a new gas balancing regime. The decision is the result of industry consultations which were based on a study carried out by KEMA. Amongst other things, the new market rules include the change from the current hourly to a daily balancing system, which was proposed by KEMA.
